Actually,Kool & the Gang made perfect sense. They provided more of a party atmosphere as opposed to an unknown rock band yelling out songs nobody knows. Honestly,i'm sure the majority of the crowd is familiar with? Kool's material. I saw many folks dancing and partying during their set.

I was at the DC ...
I was at the DC show tonight as well. 'Ice Cream Man' sounded like s**t, Eddie's 'Eruption' solo was a little sloppy and I'm sure you noticed when Diamons Dave forgot the lyrics to 'I'll Wait' ;) But other than that it was a pretty great show. The band sounded tight and Dave never faills to crack me up. I haven't even heard their new album yet but I liked the new songs so I'll be picking it up.? Fantastic show.
